Jaguar E-Type Best Car Road Test Autocar

GENEVA - Jaguar E-Type was named the best car being tested throughout history magazine Autocar (Autocar's greatest ever road test).

This week celebrates the Autocar road test the 5000. Autocar magazine published offering on 2 November 1895 - became the oldest-automotive magazine in the world.
This article first road test to test the Austin 7 and published in 1928. Road Test Jaguar E-Type itself published March 24, 1961.
Autocar team fell in love with beauty, power, pleasure driving, and the design of the E-Type, which is recognized and admired throughout the world.
This award is very special for Jaguar because it coincided with the 50th anniversary of the Jaguar E-Type.

E-Type to beat the McLaren F1, Mini, Porsche 911 GT3 RS and the VW Golf GTI.
E-Type Price £ 2,196 in 1961. Now the price of E-Type has reached about £ 50,000.
